Jewish Herald Voice
The Jewish Herald-Voice of Houston is nationally
recognized by journalists around the country for its
award-winning articles and columns. Independently
owned and now 103 years old, the Herald-Voice covers
international, national and local news that enriches the
lives of Houston and Texas Gulf Coast Jewish residents.
In addition, business owners, government officials and
clergy of other faiths subscribe to the Herald to be
informed on Jewish issues and to keep up with their
Jewish customers and friends.

Turning Point Center   
Throughout the year, HCRJ provides volunteers to work
in their garden which provides fresh vegetables for the
center.  The Turning Point Center is an independent, tax
exempt, non-profit organization which offers food,
shelter and other rehabilitative services to meet the
physical and emotional needs of a neglected segment of
society:  underprivileged individuals aged 50 and older
who are unable to provide safe and adequate living
conditions for themselves.   

Jewish Community Center of Houston  
For over seventy years, the JCC has been a place where
families and individuals come together for friendship,
affiliation and socialization in a safe and welcoming
environment. Throughout their buildings, you will find a
committed staff working together to provide our
members and guests with quality experiences, excellent
service and a sense of belonging.

Jewish Family Services  
Offers adoption services, counseling, programs for the
elderly, loan programs, job placement, and immigrant
assistance.

Hebrew Free Loan Association
When Jews of Houston have no other source of funds for
food, rent, medical care and other needs, the Hebrew
Free Loan Association of Houston is available to provide
immediate assistance in the form of a confidential,
interest free loan.

Union for Reform Judaism
The Union for Reform Judaism provides vision and
leadership to Reform Jews and congregations on
spiritual, ethical, social justice and management issues.
