Get To Know Us In 1957, our congregation was born of the idea that Judaism is a religion that should be practiced in harmony with the dictates of our hearts instead of focusing on the use of symbols and accouterments. In keeping with the traditions of Classical Reform Judaism in America, We compose a small, vibrant, and inclusive congregation, creating intimacy where fellowship may flourish. We respect the individual; regardless of gender; we embrace interfaith families and we welcome the full participation of non-Jewish members. We believe that Judaism should be exemplified in all human relations by equality, brotherhood, justice, righteousness, and recognition of our mutual responsibility to each other. We worship with ceremonies that are designed to be simple and meaningful, and that emphasize English so that all can understand the liturgy. We see our future as an energetic alternative to larger congregations for families who yearn for community, and wish to be a part of an active congregation. Bless all who enter this house. May the worship offered within its walls be worthy of Your greatness and Your love; that all who seek Your presence may find it here. For the joy of community, the gift of human diversity, and the vision of universal harmony, we offer our grateful thanks. -Union Prayer Book Sinai Edition
